Quick to Judge

(Source: Google.com)

I'm biased.  I think Google Glass is pretty fucking amazing.

On twitter, I saw this:

1. What verdict is in?  Google Glass is still not publicly released
2. Why be so quick to make an absolute judgement?

Google Glass will have bugs - v1 will be far from perfect.

Instead of criticizing, why not appreciate Google Glass for what it is -- a HUGE step in the next generation of wearable devices & the beginning of a new digital age.

The internet is about to get WAY more integrated into our daily lives (in a good way).  Rather than clumsily carrying around smartphones and having to tell the computer what to do, it will be both ubiquitous and intelligent, like an amazing, 24/7 personal assistant.

We need to be quicker to commend and slower to judge.  This attitude makes people so afraid mistakes that they trade "moonshots" for the status quo.  More moonshots, please!
